ONLINE TRANSFER OF PAVALA VADDI SOON AP - 2012

(Online transfer of pavala vaddi ) Chief minister N.Kiran Kumar reddy on Saturday said the government would credit the " pavala vaddi" interest money directly to the bank account of members of the self group through online transfers.He said the measure, meant to cut delay in disbursal of the 'VADDI' money,will be initiated soon.

After addressing the public meeting inaugurating the Komaram Bheem Project and lying foundation stones for various works in Adilabad district, the chief minister said the government has also initiated efforts to further reduce the rate of interest for loans given to SHGs.He said relevant provisions for disbursal of loans would be made in next budget subject to banks agreeing to the proposal.

The announcement of these proposals was welcomed by the gathering which was arguably the largest for any public meeting in the district so far.

Officials estimated the gathering to be 70,000 to 80,000 people strong .

He apparently proved a political point by rallying such a mammoth crowd for the public meeting.
